RVa studio and event space
We have a bigger space than other studios, more flexibility, curated furniture, and a plethora of natural light. Richmond has many creatives that are full of ideas and need a space to implement them. Richmond, this is your space. We have a minimal amount of furniture so that you are able to bring in anything of your own and it'll fit right in.
This is what richmond has been missing
The studio has white walls, light tan floors, and black accents. We chose these colors because black and white are the most contrasting colors out there. Our space comes equipped with 1 dining table + 6 chairs, 1 bistro table + 2 chairs, a clothing rack, full body mirror, 4 lounge chairs, 1 large white couch, and 2 bathrooms. We carefully picked out furniture that would go smoothly with almost any kind of photo session that takes place at Contrast.

What is included is use of the space between the hours of 6:30 am to 9:30 pm. Furniture and our sound system is included in the rental. You are responsible for bringing in anything additional such as more furniture, food, and additional vendors.

You have access to all of the furniture that already has a home at Contrast. This includes 1 dining table, 1 bistro table, 1 desk, 1 couch, 4 lounging chairs, and 8 dining chairs.
What furniture comes with the rental?
We are located in downtown Richmond, right over the bridge that crosses belle isle. Manchester to be exact. Our address is 1200 McDonough Street, Suite 101, Richmond, VA 23224
where are you located?
No, we are a natural light studio. Contrast has huge windows and the light seeps right through. You are more than welcome to bring in your own lighting for a different photography style.
